Origin
Adam Warlock first appeared (as 'Him') in Fantastic Four #66 in 1967, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The Adam Warlock identity took form in Marvel Premiere #1 in 1972 under Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, and Jim Starlin's mid-1970s run cemented the character as Marvel's central cosmic philosophical protagonist.
Comic history
Starlin's Adam Warlock runs of the 1970s, 1990s, and 2000s are the foundation. The Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War, and Infinity Crusade events are all Starlin and Warlock-driven, and they are the source material for the cinematic Marvel Universe's Thanos arc. The Rivals design uses the classic gold-skinned silhouette with the red cape.
Adam Warlock in Marvel Rivals
Adam Warlock is a 250 HP Strategist whose kit is built around team revival. Karmic Revival, the ultimate, instantly resurrects fallen teammates in range — one of the most game-deciding ultimates in the role group. Soul Bond links his health to a teammate, sharing damage. The skill ceiling is in linkage management and ult timing; a wasted Karmic Revival often loses the round.
Abilities
Quantum Magic is his basic ranged damage. Cosmic Cluster is the AoE alternative. Avatar Life Stream is the heal. Soul Bond is the linked-life utility. Karmic Revival, the ultimate, is the team-wide resurrection.

Spotting Adam Warlock in Rivaldle
Adam Warlock's species cell is Sovereign, which is unique to him in the database. That single field is a one-guess answer in Classic Mode. His gold hair and white eyes are also unique combinations. In Emoji Mode the mirror icon is our nod to his Soul Gem-as-mirror imagery from the Starlin runs.
Try the puzzle
Adam Warlock is a possible answer in every Rivaldle mode. The fastest way to spot them is usually a combination of two columns in Classic Mode plus a quick read of the silhouette or pixelation. Once you get a feel for the database fingerprints — the unique species cell, the unique origin year, the unique HP value — most heroes can be solved in two or three guesses.
