Origin
Wanda Maximoff first appeared in X-Men #4 in March 1964, alongside her brother Quicksilver, as members of Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants. They defected to the Avengers in Avengers #16 the following year, beginning the character's permanent affiliation with that team.
Comic history
Wanda's defining modern stories are John Byrne's West Coast Avengers run, Brian Michael Bendis' House of M event in 2005, and Steve Orlando's recent Scarlet Witch series. House of M in particular reshaped the character's trajectory — the line 'no more mutants' and the resulting decimation of the mutant population is referenced across the rest of Marvel publishing for a decade afterward. The Marvel Rivals design uses the red-and-black Olivier Coipel silhouette.
Scarlet Witch in Marvel Rivals
Scarlet Witch is a 250 HP Duelist who plays as a sustained-AOE caster. Chthonian Burst is the basic AOE damage tool. Mystic Projection is the long-range option. The kit rewards positioning over a sightline rather than direct dueling — she is the Duelist most likely to win a fight by being unkillable for long enough rather than by burst damage.
Abilities
Chaos Control is the basic. Mystic Projection is her ranged. Telekinesis is her crowd-control tool. Dark Seal is the lockdown. Reality Erasure, her ultimate, channels her chaos magic into a sustained area-denial effect that wipes a control point if uncontested.

Spotting Scarlet Witch in Rivaldle
Scarlet Witch's auburn hair is unique in the database — only her hair color cell shows 'Auburn,' which is distinct from Red (Black Widow, Phoenix) and Brown (Iron Man, others). That single field is a fingerprint in Classic Mode. In Pixelation Mode the red-and-pink palette stands out. In Emoji Mode the witch hat icon is the strongest cue.
Try the puzzle
Scarlet Witch is a possible answer in every Rivaldle mode. The fastest way to spot them is usually a combination of two columns in Classic Mode plus a quick read of the silhouette or pixelation. Once you get a feel for the database fingerprints — the unique species cell, the unique origin year, the unique HP value — most heroes can be solved in two or three guesses.
